Brick pointing, also known as repointing, refers to the process of renewing or replacing the mortar joints in brickwork. It’s a common maintenance task that helps preserve the structural integrity of brick walls and can help prevent water damage. 

The term is often referred to as “Tuckpointing.” While they’re sometimes used synonymously in the U.S., they refer to distinct processes.
